Menervah is an Italian metal band with alternative, gothic, doom influences, formed in Cosenza in 2020. The members of the band are guitar players Tony Prince and Luca Bruno, bass player Mattia Bazzarelli, the drummer Umberto Russo, keyboard player Luca Valentino and the vocalist Antonio Orrico. The name of the band derives from Minerva, Roman divinity of fighting loyalty, heroic virtues, defensive war and wisdom, who, according to the myth, was the daughter of Jupiter, the source of inspiration for some songs composed by the band.
