Founded in 2016 by band leader and drummer Daniel Rheinbay, Derendorfer Salonorchester, an 18 piece Jazz ensemble, closes the gap between traditional big band music and modern pop- and jazz-styles. The band consists of young musicians from the area around Düsseldorf, every member contributes his/her own style and origin of music.
