Fredrick Cortez, better known by his stage name Black Cortez, is an American rapper, songwriter and film maker from Bossier City, Louisiana. Overcoming a troubled childhood, Black Cortez found solace in the streets. While serving a 9 year prison sentence as consequence to the street life, Black Cortez fine-tuned his creative skills and developed a Boss’ mindset.
