Since age 9, Spencer has been playing the piano and studying music theory. He first began writing music in the 8th grade, and though it was a slow start, it created a passion for creating new music. Ten years later, Spencer is studying music composition at the University of South Carolina School of Music, continuing to write his own pieces. To him, music is a form of self expression and storytelling that can leave a deep emotional impact on its performers and audiences alike.
