Brothers Brandon and Louis Borrego met bassist Jacob Moore and drummer Dante Muñoz in March 2022 shortly after Austin’s first SXSW festival in a post-pandemic world. When the four felt immediate and undeniable chemistry in their first session together, they officially formed the band The Melos, which previously had been the moniker for Brandon’s songwriting and recording efforts.
