John Deschenes (TruJon) is a hip hop artist, who is currently based out of St Catharines, Ontario Canada. Being raised in a military family, resulted in a great deal of moving around as a child, and young teenager. While living in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, he found his love for the culture of underground hip hop. At the age of thirteen, TruJon wrote his first rap verse, after hearing the legendary Maestro Fresh Wes in his award wining song called "Drop the Needle.” Eventually, his family was transferred by the military to Victoria, British Columbia.
