Born Chimuanya Tobenna Okereke, Chimy is a native of Anambra state. He was born and raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Chimy started making music professionally in 2017. He classifies his music as “Afro Fusion” because his sound is chiseled by afrobeat, highlife and R&B influences at a high propensity. Chimy’s lyricism drips with witty and cheerful sensuality.
