Coming from the North Side of Chicago, Pxxwee’s passion for music was nothing less than expected. His father originated from Jamaica while his mother came from Barbados, so he had a huge island vibe surrounding him from an early age. Growing up, his mother would play a variety of hip-hop and R&B records on car rides, while his uncles invited him and his brother to freestyle sessions in the basement.
