VUCX is a New York City based songwriter, singer, and DJ, who began his journey in 2015 after meeting longtime collaborator PEACEBLVCK by chance at an MTV taping for best new artist. Together the two helped one another find their footing in what can be a lonesome industry. The pair soon started working on finding VUCX's sound and eventually landed on the emotional and loud cry of his debut single, 'Violencia', inspired by his love for juxtaposition; the eerie song slides between hushed Spanish verses and thrashing bass to create a feeling of complete chaos.
