I started doing music in early 2005. I wanted to be a mainstream artist and inked a distribution deal with Universal Music Group and Avatar Records. I didn’t like the lack of creative control and lyrical freedom so when my deal ended I went fully independent. I formed a two-man duo group with DJ/Producer Nima Fadavi called Rise of the Revolution. We signed with an independent label called Ineffable Music Group and quickly became known for our hard hitting beats, controversial lyrics, and passionate live shows that included a live band and an artist on stage painting while we performed.
