Kim Joongyeon (born July 22, 1992, in Seoul, South Korea) is a South Korean singer known for his powerful vocals and emotive performances. He was formerly the leader and lead vocalist of the K-pop boy group A6P under VL Entertainment. Kim gained nationwide recognition after participating in the hit TV show Mr. Trot on TV Chosun, where he advanced through the early rounds, including a memorable second-round performance against trot prodigy Yang Ji-won.
