Michael Mangini has been producing chart-topping hits for the past three decades. One of his first major collaborations was with the mild-mannered hip-hop trio Digable Planets. Michael produced and recorded their first single "Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)", which won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 1994.
