Vinícius Mendes: (saxophones, flute, clarinet) multi-instrumentalist, composer/improviser and researcher. Bachelor in Popular Music from UFMG and Master in Music from the same institution. He began his studies with Professor Ana Claudia Santos Letro, studying theory, music history and saxophone. He joined CEFAR-Palácio das Artes where he studied with Professor Rubio Veiga and Nestor Lombida. In the Popular Music course at UFMG, he studied under the guidance of professor Cléber Alves where he participated in the saxophone quartet in popular music and in the Geraes Big Band.
