Marlon Simon was born in a small town in Venezuela. He came to the USA in 1987 and obtained his Bachelor degree in Jazz and contemporary music from The New School for Social Research. He worked as a side man with Hilton Ruiz, Dave Valentin, Bobby Watson, Chucho Valdez and Jerry Gonzalez among many other Latin Jazz artist. Later on he formed his own ban THE NAGUAL SPIRIT featuring his work as a composer. Recipient of numerous awards in arts and education ,Marlon Simon created and established a new voice in the Latin Jazz field.More info at www.marlonsimonmusic.com
