The duo Climie Fisher was part of a forgotten British Invasion in the late '80s. Bands from the U.K. like Johnny Hates Jazz, Waterfront, and Curiousity Killed the Cat tried to lure American audiences with a polished amalgam of blue-eyed soul and light funk. Featuring vocalist Simon Climie and keyboardist Rob Fisher, Climie Fisher released their debut album, Everything, in 1988. Fisher was previously one-half of another duo, Naked Eyes.
