Roberto Pregadio, born on December 6, 1928, in Catania, Italy, was a pianist and composer. He studied piano at the Conservatory of Naples and became a regular pianist with the Orchestra di Musica Leggera della Rai from 1960 to 1963. During this period, he also taught piano at the Conservatory of Frosinone. Pregadio's career took off when he began composing for radio, television, and films, notably contributing to numerous Italian films, including several spaghetti westerns in the 1960s.
