Jan Gunnar Hoff is a Norwegian jazz pianist and keyboardist, composer, arranger and professor. Born in Bodø, Northern Norway 1958. Steinway & Sons Artist. 20 albums, 250 works. Collaborations with Alex Acuña, Mike Stern, Pat Metheny, Maria João. Hoff´s debut CD Syklus was recorded in 1992, based on a commission for the Arts Festival of North Norway. Since 1993 Hoff has worked as a bandleader presenting original compositions in settings with musicans like Audun Kleive, Tore Brunborg, Mathias Eick, Per Jørgensen.
