Cypriot composer Costas Cacoyannis (Kostas Kakogiannis) holds diplomas in piano, flute, violin, and teaching and has a degree in Engineering. After winning a Fulbright scholarship, he went to the U.S. for studies in composition at the Eastman School of Music. His music has been performed in major theatres around the world. He has collaborated with major singers G. Dalaras, A.Protopsalti, M. Hadjiyannis, E. Arvanitaki, Y. Kotsiras, Johnny Logan and film director M. Cacoyannis.
