The Consolation is a band at the absolute forefront of the Danish scene for americana and country rock music. Formed in 2014 in Copenhagen the band has so far put out three critically acclaimed albums, and has since their early days enjoyed a solid amount of airplay on Danish National Radio. The band consists of (image) Jacob Svensson-Hahn on bass, Vincent Daly on guitar, Nis Gaarde on vocals and guitar, Leif Bruun on pedal steel guitar and Sven Busck Andersen on drums.
