The Blasting Company began as a two-man band of brothers who, after years of busking around the United States, found warmth and welcome in Los Angeles. There, the brothers made some very good friends, a few of whom agreed to play music on the streets with them. As the group grew in size, so did its horizons. In the ensuing years, fueled by a strict diet of farmers market fare and wedding hors d'oeuvres, the band made its way to Europe, where it criss-crossed the continent from Portugal to Turkey, Scotland to Ukraine, trading American folk music for whatever was cool.
