Baran is a Sydney based multi-instrumentalist from Turkey. His music combines melodies and rhythms of the Middle East and Africa with a modern touch on the handpan, piano and various other percussion instruments. Originally trained in classical piano and jazz drums, he gradually became a world music composer, sharing ethnic frequencies and melodies inspired by his cultural influences.
