À propos de San Raquel
San Raquel came together in October 2011 in protest at the lack of live music in Reading, where members Jordan, Toby and Luke were students at University. Originally called Zowie’s Stranded Men, the band set up Reading Uni Band Society, which worked quickly to find other talented young bands in the area and put on a showcase in March 2012. The band’s influences are eclectic, ranging from Bob Dylan's mercurial electric period, to Jimi Hendrix's soaring guitar solos, through the primal proto-punk of Iggy Pop & The Stooges and of course the inescapable funk of the Red Hot Chili Peppe...
