Sun is a 10th grader at Columbia High School, an artistic institution with alumni such as SZA and Lauryn Hill. Prior to this she demonstrated a proclivity towards music from a very early age, singing songs into her voice memo app from the age of 6 (when, she admits, “I didn’t know anything about song structure!”) and taking music classes at Harlem School of the Arts.
