Track Starr, born to Jamaican & Nigerian Parents developed a passion for music at a young age, teaching himself to play the piano and saxophone by age 9. He started writing rap songs at 13, but struggled to record them due to his Christian upbringing. In his teens, he moved to New York City where he began making beats himself after difficulty finding producers for his songs. Despite his passion for music, Track Starr initially chose to pursue a more traditional path, graduating high school at 15 and attending college for communications and psychology.
