Rising Son first appeared on the UK Hip-Hop scene in the mid nineties. He has been both a solo artist and a member of various groups until he left the game in 2012. It was with his group P.G.M (A Phu Good Men) he made the most noise, and introduced the world to artists like 'Reveal' and 'Doc Brown'. Most notably, Rising Son appeared and a featured artist on Nas' Streets disciple album on the track Thief's Theme (remix), after which he independently released two mixtapes - 'Hoodstarr: The Gift Tape' and 'Hoodstarr 2: Blood, Sweat & Beers'.
