Hi my name is TWIGS WROTE THIS (or Ashley Oertel). I was born and raised in Palm Springs, California but I moved to Los Angeles to purse my career as a professional dancer. My music career didn’t begin until late October of 2020 where I started singing some of my poetry to beats I would find. I never considered myself a singer so I originally wanted friends to sing my songs for me. But with some practice and support from friends and family, I eventually recorded a song on my own.
