Alters was reviewed on Rolling Stone Middle East, which spoke of Malak’s vocals as being “warm and evocative” and her songs being “mid-tempo slow burners with a pop feel”. Malak has gone to release her debut album 'Bedside' in 2021, where the Egyptian artist explored her journey of love in its different forms.
