First releasing music as an independent solo artist in February 2022, Stev’s focus has been on music and artwork with little publicity or promotion. Entirely self-financed and self-recorded from within a flat in Scotland, debut single How Did We Get Here? drew comparisons to Belle and Sebastian and The Velvet Underground by underground music blogs with its lo-fi production reminiscent of The Fall.
