Morganstine is an artist name used by Brighton-based musician Christine Morgan. Brought up in the musical valleys of South Wales, Christine – like many others at the time – trained as a pianist, eventually leaving home to study music in Brighton. During her years as a music student Christine swapped her piano for a harpsichord, studying under organist and harpsichordist Paul Simmonds. During this time she developed a special interest in early music.
