Onda Sonora is a saxophone quartet from the University of Oklahoma whose members include Ethan Roberts, Zach Mathews, Kevin Barton, and Joshua Mithuen. Established in the fall of 2021 under the direction of Jonathan Nichol, they have performed numerous times in honors recitals at OU and went on two tours across the state of Oklahoma. They started entering chamber group competitions in the 2022-23 academic year, placing third in the 2023 NOLA Chamber Fest and receiving Judges' Special Recognition at the 2023 Plowman Chamber Music Competition.
