What DFC actually stands for has changed a few times during this Flint, MI, group's existence: Dope Flint Connection was how they started, Da Flint Crew and Da Funk Crew are a few of the permutations, but the hardcore sound of the group has remained intact. One of the first Midwest rap breakouts, "Ain't No Future in Yo' Frontin'" introduced the world to MC Breed & DFC in 1991.
