Satori was born in Berekely, CA and lived in the bay area as a child. His mother then decided to move back to Stockton, closer to his family. Satori started playing guitar at a young age, taking after his grandfather. In high school he began freestyling at house parties and soon started recording himself. His first hip-hop group was called Fly Family, which included Stockton producers OFASHO and 12th Oracle.
