Martina Magionami, a.k.a. La Marti, is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Florence (Italy) who loves creating stories from scratch and merging them into new melodies, always in a precarious balance between irony and melancholy. Her music is a blend of folk, country and pop, her lyrics are both in Italian and English. On stage her delicate and neat voice meets her acoustic guitar skills, while in studio she also uses electric guitars and other instruments from her collection (mandolin, ukulele, melodica and harmonica to mention a few).
