British soprano Emma Tring, a longtime member of the BBC Singers, focuses on contemporary music in her solo work. She is also a member of several other ensembles, each with its own distinctive musical emphasis. Tring launched her solo career with a production of Bizet's Carmen that toured five-star hotels in Thailand. Back in Britain, she joined the BBC Singers in 2008; she remained a member of that group as of the mid-2020s.
