The Moscow-based band MOGU (pronounced mogU) established in 2010 by Dmitry Bocharov - vocals, Sergey Salikhov - guitars, Eugeniy Kryuchkov - keybords and Nikolay Salnikov as band's co-lyricist, is often referred to as indie rock shamans and guitar magicians. To a large extent, this is facilitated by the powerful and at the same time heartfelt vocals of its frontman and vocalist Dmitry Bocharov. MOGU is as semi-finalist of the Studio 7 contest of independent Russian bands by Rolling Stone Russia magazine and the British UK Songwriting Contest.
