Tim Krekel is a Louisville, KY, native who plays straight rock & roll. He has written songs for many different artists, including Dr. Feelgood and Delbert McClinton, but his biggest song was probably Patty Loveless' cover of "You Can Feel Bad." He has also played with many like-minded artists, especially with mentor Jimmy Buffett. Buffett gave Krekel many of his big breaks in the recording industry, but by the late '70s Krekel struck out on his own to release his debut, Crazy Me.
