Better Spirits was founded in 2018 in Alyssa's basement. The band strengthened their bond by working together at a local grocery store, but always made time for the things they love (fishing, walking around, playing guitar, etc.) The community that they found through making music has served as their biggest inspiration. Between organizing and playing shows in their hometown, Howell, NJ and the stirring college town where Alyssa lived, Newark, DE, the duo was sure to be inspired to create commanding riffs and infectious vocal melodies.
