I started writing songs in my awkward early teens as a creative outlet. I didn’t know as much about God as I thought I did back then, and definitely didn't know how much this embarrassing-at-the-time hobby would impact my relationship with Him. I just wrote songs because it was fun. Through years of ups and downs, success and failure, and sin and repentance my understanding of God's grace and perfect love deepened, and that has changed everything- including the songs that come out of me.
