Chilean progressive metal band .inflect was founded in 2016 by Harold King, Ignacio Urqueta and Nicolas Duarte, after they split ways with their previous band. After spending a couple of troubled years trying to find an stable formation, .inflect finished the writing sessions for their first LP in late 2019 - which was influenced by some bands they grew up listening to, like Porcupine Tree, Opeth, King Crimson and some modern bands like Periphery, TesseracT and Leprous.
