Born Ikechukwu John-Ogbuku in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, He spent his early years involved in different aspects of music from singing in the church choir, to learning to play the piano, to rapping old Heavy D & MC Hammer songs. He cites “The Eminem Show” and “50 Cent’s Get Rich or Die Tryin” as the inspiration to write his own music. KING STUNNA traveled to Malaysia to attend university. While in Malaysia, he would skip classes a lot of times to be in the studio and put out songs through Myspace and Reverbnation till he got noticed and grew a sizeable fanbase.
