Ignacio Lopez Jr. aka “DELACiiO” was born and raised in Oakland, CA. While he still resides in the Bay Area, his parents’ pueblos and his Mexican culture have never left him. As a kid, he watched telenovelas with his mom who herself was a singer. His dad also aspired to be a singer and was responsible for turning DELACiiO onto old school Mexican bands such as, Los Bukis. Melding the influences of his parents, local rappers and MTV, DELACiiO began to view his life as a suspense drama in which his musical influences became its soundtrack and provided a path out of the danger that surrounded h...
