Ivana Céspedes Jordan, known as Vi Jordan (pronounced “vee”), is a jazz, r&b, soul singer in Los Angeles and the Bay Area. At 18 years old, Vi began her work in the music industry as a classical pianist/accompanist, but soon realized her calling was in vocal work. She started singing with the College of the Canyons vocal ensemble, Just Jazz, under the direction of Julie Lawson, where she was able to perform varying vocal solos and small ensemble a cappella numbers at the Monterey Jazz Festival and Jazz Educators Network in Austin, Texas to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place national rankings.
