Toronto-based independent artist MyNananz has been writing music since 2018, initially exploring rap, singing, and beat-making with his producer friend Silverado. The decision to pursue music professionally came after collaborating with his brother Sinnada on the track "Bad Obsession" in 2022—continuing to write and record music as part of the collective "Gatesidemusic" with siblings Sinnada and JellaBez.
