I believe that music touches people in ways that, sometimes, others don't understand. I believe we are shaped by the artists we listen to. We all form connections to them. For me, it was listening to Taylor Swift and realizing that she understood me in a way that no one else in my life did, and, somehow, I felt like I understood her, too, and I began to write my own songs. While Taylor is a main inspiration for me, others soon followed suit.
