Scott Wicken is a Canadian singer/songwriter. He’s also a member of City’N’Eastern. Son of a jazz bassist, Wicken initially performed spoken word pieces. In Yellowknife he was in improv comedy soap opera Land of the Midnight Sin. In Edmonton, 1993, he recorded Deeds of Dogs and Heroes, a cassette of poems. Wicken recorded Something Wicken This Way Comes in 1995, a mixture of poetry and song that included guest musicians Bill Bourne, Chris Smith, Corb Lund, Ryan Vikedal and others.
