"The sounds hear hear while being stalked" is how Nick Sicken describes the sounds of his eclectic electronic persona basic bones. One half of the EDM-turned-techno duo Cake Ladies, Sicken has moved in and out of varying genres of music to settle on what he calls "headache music." Sparking influences like Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, and Flying Lotus, basic bones is very much about capturing stories in sound, and taking you places reminiscent of 70's nature documentaries.
