Growing up on the tough streets of SouthWest Philly, Mont’s story is a classic tale of the hard knock life. He started using music as an escape at the age of five and wrote his first song at the age of eight. Since then, he has paired up with a number of fellow Philly musicians on their grind, but ultimately decided to pursue music on his own.
