Spirit 47 is a roots revivalist duo that expands on various American folk traditions while also adding their own flare as songwriters. Arthur Terembula and Johanna Wacker are two students of American roots music. Arthur has a focus in country blues and ragtime, while Johanna's concentration is primarily Appalachian folk (old-time and bluegrass) and early country.
