In 1979 Richard Haines was invited along to a jam session at a local studio in Reigate, where he met Dave Cowles. Within a few weeks it was clear to the two that they had something special going, and from then they begun writing songs together as 50/50. Electronic pop with a distinctive synth sound, Richard’s production and instrumentation combined with Dave’s lyrics and vocals resulted in the production of over 100 songs between 1979-1985. Decades later the pair decided it was finally time for their music to be heard. AT LONG LAST - 50/50's debut album released 3rd July 2024.
