Malaysian three-piece indie rock group Chlypdy (Cili Padi) was founded in 2022. Qalish (vocals), Nizam (lead guitar) & Dedek (bassist) form the band's lineup. After placing first in the Art of Speed Battle of the Band in 2023, Chlypdy was given the chance to perform at Legend Siam in Pattaya, Thailand. Chlypdy plays a variety of rock songs in Malay. Sweet Charity, Alleycats, M. Nasir, Deep Purple, and The Changcuters are some of their major influences. The founding of Chlypdy was spurred by the members' mutual love of classic rock!
